Testing a product to a product safety program is fast, easy, and dependable in our ANAB accredited laboratory. We provide quick and reliable testing that is Internationally accepted.
Submit Your ProjectProduct safety testing is an area that is often looked at as a problem, rather than a benefit. We know from experience that accurate, reproducible, and repeatable data is of paramount importance. Why is product safety testing important to your bottom line?
We’ve seen the same scenario played out since 1980 in NRTL laboratories and in manufacturers laboratories where a test was conducted that indicated a failure. Upon further investigation it was found that the test method, data collection, or technician actually caused the failure. False failure test results cause time delays, tooling changes that could have been avoided and/or escalating costs.
The second scenario is the test is conducted and passes the requirements in the applicable safety standard but a critical quality control issue is missed which results in a field failure which is costly to remediate and damages your reputation. Don’t take unnecessary chances in data that compromises safety or quality.
Our data is not only correct but Internationally accepted because we went one more step and received accreditation from ANAB to ISO 17025 in over 200 test methods. When having tests conducted by any third party laboratory always ask for the laboratory Accreditation Certificate by A2LA, ANAB, or NVLAP as the only ILAC approval assessors. Unfortunately, some laboratories say they’re accredited to provide international data when upon closer inspection they’re not. Don’t get fooled by an imposter!
Our technicians are all audited by ANAB to ISO/IEC 17025 as being competent, capable, and correct after undergoing a thorough audit process. To review our scope of accreditation go to: www.anab.org.
Environmental tests typically qualify the ultimate enclosure as being able to withstand particle, moisture, or solids from entering the electrical enclosure.
DetailsThermal aging of polymeric parts that are used to support and/or enclose live parts or exclude moisture is critical.
DetailsWhile temperature testing is simple in concept, getting reliable, repeatable results, can be extremely difficult.
DetailsA Stability Test is a simple test with major consequences should a freestanding product tip over during normal use. Every stability test performed in our laboratory is conducted in a rigorous manner giving you peace of mind that your product meets the current safety requirements.
DetailsMechanical tests are always challenging and require the technician and engineer to collaborate on the method.
DetailsProducts used in extreme environments are subjected to accelerated aging tests to stress paints and plating means.
DetailsCategory includes input, burnout, leakage, abnormal operation, grounding resistance, and component failure tests.
DetailsProtecting electrical cords and leads from damage during normal use is determined by static and dynamic tests.
DetailsPolymeric materials used in electrical products must retain mechanical integrity to prevent exposure of live parts.
DetailsPolymeric materials used in electrical products must retain mechanical integrity to prevent exposure of live parts.
DetailsDielectric tests are conducted on many products to ascertain if the insulation system will break down under use.
DetailsWilger testing is qualified in every test required on a lighting track system and luminaires.
DetailsWhether you have a new technology, manufacturing process, or product we can develop a reliability test program.
DetailsPer ASTM E283 Wilger Testing conducts air leakage tests for recessed luminaires.
DetailsWilger Testing can conduct testing on components or products to confirm or refute tests conducted elsewhere.
